Data Deletion Instructions

1. How to Request Data Deletion
If you would like to delete your Calx account and all associated personal data, you can do so using either of the methods below. Once your request is processed, your account and personal data will be permanently removed from our systems, subject to any legal retention requirements.
2. Request via Email
Send an email to calx.trade@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include:
- The email address associated with your Calx account
- Your username (if applicable)
- A brief confirmation that you wish to delete your account and data
We will verify your identity and process your request. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.
3. In-App Deletion (Coming Soon)
We are working on adding an account deletion option directly inside the Calx app. Once available, you will be able to delete your account from your profile settings without needing to contact us. This page will be updated when the feature is live.
4. What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove the following data from our systems:
- Your profile information (name, email address, username)
- Account preferences and settings
- Prediction and trading history
- Wallet balances and transaction records (where not legally required to retain)
- Any referral or partner data linked to your account
5. What May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period where required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Financial records — transaction logs may be kept for tax and regulatory compliance as required by applicable law.
- Fraud prevention — limited information may be retained to prevent abuse, fraud, or re-registration by banned users.
- Legal obligations — data subject to ongoing legal proceedings or government requests will be preserved until the matter is resolved.
6. Processing Timeline
We aim to process all data deletion requests within 30 days of receiving your verified request. If additional time is needed, we will notify you and explain the reason for the delay.
